Shane D. Hill

Newtonville Explorers: My Newton Software is here.

Mr Hill graduated in 1987 with a Bachelor of Aeronautical Engineering (Honours), from the University of Sydney. He commenced work at the Aeronautical & Maritime Research Laboratory (AMRL) in 1988, working in the area of aircraft flight dynamics. Significant achievements have included development of a flight dynamic model for a joined wing aircraft configuration, development of a six degree of freedom flight dynamic model of a spinning aircraft, involvement in the development of flight dynamic models for the F-111C and F/A-18 aircraft, and reconstruction of flight paths from the F/A-18 flight maintenance data recorder for RAAF incident inquiries. Currently Shane is working in the Airframes and Engines Division developing aerodynamic loads for the F/A-18 and F-111C aircraft.

Mr Hill forgot to mention that he is a world renowned authority on UNIX, X-Windows, Motif, MS-Windows, C, Fortran, and Assembler programming. He is currently trying to master the Newton. Unfortunately Apple may have terminated this ambition.
